What is Personalization? How Can I Customize My Ketubah? Return to FAQs Q: What is Personalization? A: A Personalized Ketubah contains all of the specific details that are relevant to your wedding. It is extremely important that you provide us with complete and accurate information, as your Ketubah will be completed exactly as you have requested on the Personalization Form! The $350 price for a Ketubah includes a $75 personalization fee. Using our technologically advanced printing processes, we can ensure that your personalized information is neatly and proportionately formatted, which is often a problem for personalizations attempted by hand. In order for you to ensure that the information you provide is accurate and acceptable for your service, we strongly recommend that you have your Rabbi or Officiant assist you in completing the Personalization Form, particularly if you are getting married by an Orthodox or Conservative Rabbi. The information we will need to obtain from you will include the following: Date/Time of Ceremony The date of your wedding ceremony, and whether or not the ceremony will take place before of after sunset. Location of Ceremony The location of your wedding ceremony, including the City, State and Country. English/Hebrew Names The English and Hebrew names of the Bride and Groom/Partners, as well as the English and Hebrew names of their parents. Our translation service can assist in identifying your Hebrew name or transliterating your English name, as appropriate, if (i) you do not know your Hebrew name; (ii) you do not have a Hebrew name; or (iii) you have a question as to the spelling of your Hebrew name, in which case you will have to provide us with the English phonetic spelling of your Hebrew name. Additional Information If you are ordering a Ketubah with an Orthodox or Conservative text, we will need some additional information, which is identified on the Personalization Section of the Ketubah Order Form. We are dedicated to making your Ketubah a reflection of your artistic and personal preferences, and we encourage you to consider incorporating our various creative custom options to make your Ketubah even more unique and special. Please keep in mind that by its very nature customization requires that we have additional lead time to complete your Ketubah. Generally, we require an additional two weeks to the standard production schedule to accommodate any customization order. If your wedding is less than one month away, please contact us before placing your order to ensure that we can accommodate your timeline. We offer customization options on an á la carte basis, which means that you have an opportunity to add any or all of these custom options to your existing Ketubah order.
